- Arriving Back Late / Leaving early - please advise a member of staff before leaving if you are returning late. The Night Entrance is the fire door off Kirkgate, which is the left hand side of the hotel as you look at it. The door can be opened with the second key on your key fob with the red cap.
- Breakfast, breakfast is served in the restaurant from 8:00 to 10:00am daily. Please advise us in advance if you require any earlier breakfast.
- Car Park, free parking is available on the town square.
- Check In/Out, check In time is from 15:00. Please note that rooms must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure. Late check out maybe possible subject to availability, please enquire at reception.

- Doctor / Hospital, Leyburn Medical Practice is located at Leyburn Health Centre, Brentwood, Leyburn DL8 5EP. Telephone 01969 622391, opening times 08:30 - 18:30. Out of hours call 111 or for emergency 999. The nearest community hospitals are Ripon and Northallerton.
- Dogs, dogs are welcome in the bar area and designated bedrooms if pre registered. Dogs should not be left unaccompanied in the bedrooms. A daily cleaning charge of £10 applies.
- Fire Safety Procedures, fire exits are located at the end of each corridor on the 1st floor. Guests on the second floor will need to descend to the 1st floor. Please note that the ground floor is inaccessible during the night. If you discover a fire please raise the alarm by breaking the glass on the nearest fire alarm point, then make your way to the closest exit. If you hear the fire alarm please exit the hotel immediately. The Fire Assembly point is in front of the hotel on the Market Square.
- First Aid, there is a First Aid kit located at Reception, or for non urgent matters requiring a medical professional please call 111, or 999 in case of emergency. See contact details for the local GP or hospital under Doctor.
- Hairdryer, each room is supplied with a hairdryer, usually located in one of the drawers or wardrobe.
- Hospitality Tray, there is a selection of complimentary tea, coffee & hot chocolate provided in each bedroom. Should you require any additional items, or if you prefer fresh milk please ask at reception.
- In case of Emergency, on arrival please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the emergency exits, the location of the nearest fire alarm and fire extinguisher. See Fire Safety Procedures above.
- Local Attractions, Middleham is famous for its Castle and the link to Richard III, as well as having a thriving Horse Racing Community with over a dozen local trainers. There is a wealth of things to do and see in the area. - Lost Property, if guest property is found after departure we will endeavour to contact you. If you would like your item returned we can look into posting it, depending on the size and subject to a postage and packing charge. Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity after one month.
- Luggage, please contact reception if you require any assistance with luggage.
- Methods of Payment, cash and all the major credit and debit cards are accepted, contactless payment is requested during Covid-19. Alternatively a bank transfer can be arranged in advance.

- Restaurant. Breakfast is served 08:00 to 10:00 in the restaurant. If you are staying in the hotel with your dog we can accommodate you both in the Bar but unfortunately dogs are not permitted in the restaurant. The Tack Room Restaurant is open from 18:30 with last orders for dinner at 21:00. During Covid-19 we recommend making a booking. The restaurant is open Wednesday - Sunday.
- Room Account, food & drink can be charged to your room account during your stay, please give your name and room number to the member of staff who will ask you to sign the bill.
- Security, please ensure your bedroom door is closed behind you. Please do not leave valuables unattended in your room. The hotel assumes no liability for lost items.
- Shop, Central Stores, West End, Middleham 01969 623224 open 05:30 - 20:30 & 18:30 on Sundays for newspapers and local produce. The Shop also has a cash machine.
- Showers, due to the complexities of a grade 2 listed building some showers are electrical and require you to pull the cord to switch it on before entering the shower.
- Smoking, this is a non-smoking hotel. It is strictly prohibited to smoke in rooms and public areas.

Room to room, dial 1 before a double digit room number, and 10 before a single digit room number. To call outside the hotel please speak to reception. We can transfer your call to an external number but there is no facility available directly from your room telephone.
- Towels, to do our bit for the environment and avoid unnecessary washing, towels will only be changed upon request, or if you are having an extended stay with us.
- Trains, the closest railway station is Northallerton which is on the main line LNER, Boroughbridge Road, Northallerton DL7 8AN.
